Asterpix enables bloggers to more effectively convey information or tell a story by fully integrating blog text and video. The Asterpix hypervideo solution allows bloggers to link directly from text to relevant parts of the video.

Step 1: Embed a hypervideo into your blog post (see the Learn More Creating and Sharing sections for an overview of how to create and embed hypervideos).

Step 2: Add text to your blog post.

Step 3: Get link for relevant "hotspot" in the video.

1. Navigate to the hotspot.
2. With the video paused and the object selected, right click either the selected object or the note callout box. See Fig. 1.
3. Select 'copy embedded link to clipboard.' The link to the hotspot will be copied to your clipboard, and you will see a message confirming this operation.

Step 4: Paste this link into your blog post to link to your hotspot from any blog text. Note: You need to add the html <a> tag to link from the text. See Fig. 2.

When readers click this link, the video will seek directly to the part of the video that contains the hotspot.
